for upgrading or installing Windows 10.

Here are the minimum system requirements for installing Windows 10 on a PC or Laptop. (Microsoft recommendations)

Windows-10-minimum-requirements

Processor (CPUspeed1GHz or faster processor.

Memory (RAM): 1GB for 32-bit systems or 2GB for a 64-bit system.

Storage (HDD/ SSD): 32GB or larger hard disk

(16GB free space required for 32-bit systems and 20GB for 64-bit systems for upgrades)

Graphics card (GPU): Compatible with DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

Display: 800×600 minimum resolution for monitor or television. 

Internet Connection: Ethernet or Wifi required for Internet connectivity.

Our Recommendations

for Windows 10.

Although the minimum recommendation by microsoft only takes into consideration what your system requires to run, update or install Microsoft Windows 10. 

Microsoft has not taken into account continued use or overall user experience. 

Therefore we have a different recommendation for minimum system requirements to run Windows 10 smoothly.

From our experience, our recommendations differ, as we intend to give you the best advice for a flawless experience using the Windows 10 operating system.

  • Performing tasks things faster?
  • Would you like to more tasks at once?
  • Want to play the latest games, but it needs power?
  • Does a piece of software need specific hardware requirements?
  • Is your computer running too hot?
  • Do you need a new casing?

These are some of the questions. We often ask our customers when they decide its time to upgrade because they have a specific requirement. 

Upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 might be a reason your upgrading but why not take advantage of other upgrades while you have the chance.
